Pacific Urethanes to Reduce Carbon Emissions by 40%

Here at Pacific Urethanes, we are passionate about finding new and innovative ways to give back to the environment. We are extremely proud to be ISO 14001 accredited – this means that in everything we do, we adhere to a strict framework that allows us to effectively minimise our impact on the environment.

We strive to take this a step further. Instead of simply managing our output, our goal is to drastically reduce our carbon footprint. Pacific Urethanes consistently strives to set the benchmark for environmental standards among Australian Polyurethane Suppliers. We were already the first Australian Polyurethane Supplier to provide a fully Ozone Friendly product range. Now, we will be replacing many of our materials with low global warming potential (GWP) alternatives.

These low GWP materials will come in various forms and are estimated to reduce our CO2 emissions by 40% compared to previous years, all without any sacrifice in quality among our systems. This is another huge step in the right direction for us and we are very excited for what these changes will bring.
