WHY POLYURETHANE FOAM INSULATION?

Light Weight | Flexible Design | Excellent Thermal Protection

Polyurethane is a highly versatile polymer, formed by the combination of two chemicals, polyol and isocyanate. Being able to mix the ratios of these chemicals, plus the addition of catalysts, is what makes polyurethane so versatile.

  • VERSATILE APPLICATIONS

  • SAFE & SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION

  • COST EFFECTIVE

VERSATILE APPLICATIONS

The versatility of polyurethane insulation makes it a popular choice for many manufacturers. At Pacific Urethanes, our world-class chemists develop varying types of foam insulation, from rigid foams to spray foams, each with customisable densities and low thermal conductivities. These can be tailored to the clients needs to deliver high quality thermal protection cross every sector.

Pacific Urethanes’ insulation is found in a multitude of applications, such as:

  • Commercial & industrial wall and ceiling insulation
  • Domestic insulation
  • Panels of insulation within refrigerated trucks
  • LNG pipe Insulation
  • Insulation for hot water systems
  • Cooler boxes

SAFE & SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION

Polyurethane is often the material of choice for providing insulation and enhancing fire safety within a building, thanks to its impressive insulative and fire performance values. These can be chemically engineered to increase them to an even greater level. As such, Polyurethane is capable of passing incredibly strict standards for a multitude of applications.

Thanks to the longevity that Polyurethane products possess, using them for building and construction work assists in the global effort of reducing our carbon footprint. This in turn promotes sustainability – reducing how many materials we use and instead prolonging existing materials’ life span.

‘Polymer-based construction materials are a key part of a sustainable, energy efficient solution because they have a range of advantages over alternative materials for meeting energy efficiency requirements.’
AMBA (Australian Modern Building Alliance)

COST EFFECTIVE

Because of Polyurethane insulations’ long-life span, no requirement of regular maintenance, and ease of installation, it is a highly cost-effective material of choice. This is especially true when considering the increase of energy savings experienced by reducing heating and cooling costs, as well as the cost per tonne of carbon dioxide saved.
